I'm Shelby Miller.
I'm a twenty-something married to my best friend- who is often my right-hand-man at a shoot + my lifelong adventure partner. I'm a mama to three amazing kids that joined our family through international adoption in May of 2021. It's a privilege and honor to get to be their mama. We are journeying through all the loss and gain, brokenness and beauty that comes with it.
I am a photographer & an ESL teacher. My work as a photographer and teacher both started about six years ago, and it's been a really incredible experience to grow in both my areas of work. One common thread between both my passions is getting to meet and interact with some of the most amazing people & hear their stories.
Jesus Christ is my firm foundation for everything I do. I am a bond-servant for Christ, to bring about His work for His glory. Whether it be taking photos or teaching grammar, loving God's people + serving Him through sharing the good news of His Son is what I'm all about!

There are many things I'm passionate about, but my work with refugee families, my role as an adoptive mother, and my love for reaching people with the good news of Jesus are at the TOP of my list. And I want to serve YOU in that role.

I'll never forget sitting with a table of my ESL students (all refugees) and discussing that they lost EVERY single photo they ever had of their family, their weddings, themselves, etc. It BROKE me as a photographer. If you're a refugee, I'd love to provide some current photographs to you that you can keep forever.
